Today I went out and bought this 87 Supra for $1300 7MGE non-tubo, autotrans. On the way home I lost all power. No brake lights, turn signals, no radio or anything. The car also felt a little sluggish. Once home I opened up the hood and checked the fuse box. It looks like my Alternator Fuse is completely fried.
It looks as if the wires are completely burned up.
Car will not start. Doesn't turn over or anything. However headlights work so the battery is operational.
I am not very electronically inclined.
I was wondering if-
I should remove the entire fuse box to get a better look, then remove the alternator fuse.
Thank you for looking, any help would be greatly appreciated.
