MK4 Targa/Sport roof rattle squeak noises

Hi,

Just got a Targa TT. The roof squeaks and creaks when ALOT. Not just on inclines/decline slopes but over bumps. Sounds like the car is twisting and turning even at slow speeds.

I checked the bolts and hand tightened them using an allen key L shaped tool. Couldnt get much leverage with long side in hole to get to the bolt so just hand tightened.

Rattle noises a bit better but still very noticeable.

Are there torque specs to the bolts? Dont want to strip the threads.

Any other tricks? On s2000's owners use light grease to lub the connecting contact surfaces.
