I have built and done several cars over the years. I have done a mgb gt2 with a gm 350 crate 250hp motor ran 14.22 1/4 mile on 5" tires. 4 chevy luv trucks with 327, 350, 355 and a 431. tube chassie car ect. I got this car at a really good price, it seems to handle very well, and the motor is fresh. I don't think it will make a ton of power, prob in the 250 -300 range without the plate system. I was worried about putting some slicks on it. and launching out of the hole. I know you can mod the crap out of any motor, the factory motor modded would also get better mpg. I'm really stuck on the v8 sound of a nice camshaft or good mufflers. My buddie has a dodge spirt r/t in full street trim running low 10s and getting 33mpg on the highway, with the a/c.

Trying to fig out if I want to go to the dragstip on the 27th witch is 98 miles away or do a solo race for my first time here in town. Either way I will post the results.
