Newbie Engine overhaul????need some input and advice please

Hi I just bought an 88 supra 7mgte and looking to rebuild the motor first thing in order to handle higher hp in the future. The guy I bought it from said he put a used head and new arp studs on and when he looked at the piston tops he said they looked new?? I have no way to know wat kind of pistons they were but I will eventually find out. I'm thinking of going with ross pistons eagle hbeam rods clevite bearings and arp fasteners for mains and rods. I'm new to supras and just looking for some input on what to expect on rebuilding this engine as far as block and head work. Thanks everyone.
