Head Gaskets

I'm looking to replace my stock head gasket on my 7MGTE, as far as I know the engine has never been machined, if machining is needed what specs should I have it done to and what thickness and bore should I do for a MHG?!?!?! Also im fairly poor so the most cost effective route would be most appreciated.
