My advice--stick around. There's a ton of knowledge on here. I didn't know ANYTHING about Supras till I started pokin round here. I learned A LOT. If you go trollin for info before you look up other posts, it won't be well recieved.
Didn't you have a mechanic check out your car 'for you bought it? If not, DO IT NOW!. Many times these "great deals" turn out to have a Blown Head Gasket or worse. A lot of the Supras you'll find need considerable work, and drivin em can make the problem a helluva lot worse. Once she check out, then come back. Also--TALK TO YOUR MECHANIC. To many people just take their cars in and get a write up. Strike up a conversation. Ask him/her questions like "how many of these cars have you worked on". What are some common problems. What should I watch out for? Does she need to warm up before I drive her? Whats the optimum oil pressure? Run the gambit. He's probably charging you around $80 bucks an hour, get your money's worth. Once you find a good mechanic (preferably a Toyota Master Tec) take the car only to him/her. Let the same mechanic work on your ride everytime. That way they know your car.
Hope that helps, at least a little.
