putting a turbo on a N/A engine will cause the ECU to go into limp home mode. The Turbo engine is built for boost, including dished pistons, lower compression, better ignition system, and lost of the other parts I'm probably forgetting. Don't forget the intercooler, and the piping for it, as intercoolers aren't cheap either. Personally, I'd look for a turbo car and sidestep all the hassles, as they also come with a LSD which will make it more fun in autocross...
