One other item you might consider - all of the turbo kits made by Japanese manufacturers (eg. HKS, GReddy, Blitz, etc.) will work just fine with a JDM, since that's probably the exact platform that was used for their initial R&D for the product. It's the US domestic and knock-off kits that may have problems, since it's possible they've never been tested on a JDM...
