-what price range should i be looking at when looking at all of the sale ads (please mention if your prices are in US dollars, because i live in Canada)

-in the future i hope to buy a turbo, since this car is going to be one with an automatic transmission what would be the maximum horsepower i can achieve?

-what other upgrades would i need to acquire this sort of performance?

-how much control is lost considering it is an automatic transmission?

Additional advice as regards to purchasing a supra would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!
In US$, I'm pretty sure that most Mkiv Supra TT's in decent shape are still going for about $20K USD.

The mkiv tt oem auto tranny can take about 500rwhp, with regular hard driving, without trouble (assuming proper maintenance).

You'll need a single turbo to get 500rwhp, or bpu++++ mods with the oem twins PLUS nitrous.

Why would you say cost is lost considering it is an automatic transmission?

Be sure any used Mkiv Supra TT has through maintenance records. Also get someone to inspect it that is objective (i.e. not affiliated with the seller), and very familiar with the Mkiv Supra TT.

NB: Please consider posting any help requests in a new thread instead of asking me for help privately. About 99.9+% of the time, private help requests end up covering great information that could be very valuable to other forum members. If you have a good reason for needing the help request to be private, I'll consider it. If not, then why not give everyone else the opportunity to pitch in too, and/or learn from the information? Remember, there's no such thing as a dumb question. We're all here to help within this family of Supra owners.
