With that big of an exhaust on a N/A you are actually not going to gain anything. That exhaust is for a turbo car and lets it breath a lot more. The exhaust you need for yours to notice anything is something way smaller. I bought a HKS Dragger for mine when it was still a N/A and it felt like it lost power and also would backfire on a high rev shift. Now with the 1JZ it fits right because turbo cars need to flow freely and let out a lot of exhaust because of the added air going in. Think of it this way when you think of horsepower, More air in more air out = More horsepower. Even putting a cone filter on your N/A you are still limited by the size of the intake runners and are not gaining much more air in than you were without it.
