Your oil pump won't knock. It might fail completely or it might work but not provide sufficient oil pressure, both of which could damage your engine and cause your engine to knock, but the pump itself won't knock. Worn wrist-pins can result in knocking too btw.

What's your oil pressure, at idle and at cruise?

Read that you just put in new rod bearings. Did you use a plastiguage to verify that the bearings you installed were the proper size?
