1) I don't know for sure, so please double-confirm elsewhere
2) I don't think you can do what you describe - from what I understand, the 1jz-gte is the same bore with a shorter stroke (which is why it's only 2.5L).

To me, you should consider doing it the other way...take your 2jz-ge block to a machinist and ask him to drill holes & tap boltholes for the 1jz-gte oil squirters.
