Swapping a 2JZ in an MKIII has been done. It isnt the most practical or easy of swaps. In my opinion go with the 1JZ the motor is just as strong and can be tuned to 350 WHP with the stock twin turbos. But to be a bolt in swap your MKIII will need to be 89-92 chaise or you will need the front subframe off of an 89-92 (the mounts are different). To pull off a JZ swap you will need to cut the hole in the frame where the shifter is of the MKVI 6 speed. You will also need to change out the power steering and getting the A/C to work will be interesting. The hood will also need to come you about a half inch to make room for the 2JZ.
