Default Lower Radiator Hose

Ok, I'm feeling pretty dumb right now cuz I know the answer has got to be right under my nose...

I have an 87 7MGTE 5 spd. I am trying to change the lower radiator hose. For the life of me, I can not see how to put this thing back in without any kinks in it. I think I should have taken more parts off when I removed the old one, cuz I did do a bit of tugging. So far I have removed the MAF, air piping before turbo, power steering reservoir bracket bolts (reservoir is still in car, but able to be moved around a little), the rubber tube that connects the turbo----> intercooler (the hard curved piece and the rubber tube that comes out of the bottom of the turbo are still in place), and fan shroud (cuz I don't have one).

My question is, what all do you have to do when you remove/install your lower radiator hose? I'd appreciate any helpful info as I would like to get this back together before I go to work tomorrow...
