Literally everything is different. The entire braking system is MUCH weaker, with fewer racing-oriented ABS features, for example. As was said, the transmission is different, along with the differential - both also much weaker than the TT version. The ecu that controls the engine is different - for example the na uses a distributor but the tt's ignition is all computer-controlled with a coil-on-plug setup. It goes on and on.

You wouldn't need to replace any internals if you start with a TT - they're good to 1000hp...really!

Depends on your horsepower goals. Oh and they're not a bolt-on - you'd have to get the n/a block drilled by a machinist in order to create the mounting points for the oil squirters.

Are you? In addition to the lack of four-piston calipers up front, the TT puts more braking power on the outside wheels if you brake while cornering. The n/a doesn't do that. Again, it's far more than just sensors - it's literally the entire powertrain front to back that's far weaker in the n/a.

swap from 5spd manual to 6spd manual would be quite easy - just swap the tranny.

Why? The cooling system on the na is the same as the TT's...and the oem TT cooling system doesn't need to be upgraded unless you're going to be roadracing (extended 30+ minute full-on sessions) in the middle of summer, with bpu+++ or apu engine upgrades. In other words, the oem cooling system will probably meet your needs as-is.

On an n/a engine? That would be horribly expensive. Every kit I've seen for the n/a is a single turbo.

Be sure not to get a used harness. With all of the heat the 2jz-gte generates, most used harnesses have several broken/cracked/brittle plastic connectors.
