Default I'm new here, 1990 turbo project, bought for $200

I am new to the forum and wanted to post some pics of a 1990 (auto, i guess you can't get everything you want) targa top I bought for $200 bucks. The title was clean, no issues. The owner said it had a blown head gasket and was his son's car. He said he didn't want to invest anymore money into it so he was going to buy his son a new car. He sold it to me for 200 bucks and I saved all summer (I got it in June) and finally got enough money together for a new rebuilt turbo 7mgte. I found a great guy who I think will do a great job. Once the car is running I will work on the body (some minor rust spots and new paint job is in order) and then move on to the seats. Besides the seats being in bad condition the dash and other interior parts are in pretty good condition. First problem I ran into was that the engine was already replaced but with a non turbo, so now it’s going to cost a little more to get her running because I need some extra turbo parts. I was glad to save her from the junk yard and look forward to making her new again. Engine, body work/paint job and seats are all issues. So far this hasn’t been too cheap ($1800 for rebuilt 7mgte plus any other needed part plus no turbo at all in the engine) but I don’t mind saving and making it look new again. Any recommendations or helpful hints and tips are welcomed. Click image for larger version
