1st gear jumping out, 4th gear crunching, how do I fix it without changing gearbox

Posted in the wrong section. I'll move this to the general discussion group as the W58 was used in more than just the one model.

I don't think you are going to be able to fix this without rebuilding or replacing the gearbox.
