On the downpipe before the turbo? The DP is after the turbo.

Generally, you want the sensor as close to the head as possible without frying it and while getting as broad a sample as possible (ie. AFTER any collectors, don't want to just sample gas from one runner). Mounting my wideband sensor in the 7M-GE's stock location killed the sensor in a week; While 7M-GTE exhaust is MUCH cooler some people have still experienced problems with using the elbow for mounting their wideband sensor; I haven't tried running with mine in the elbow... having a bung welded in further down is cheaper than $100 for a replacement sensor. My wideband sensor is now mounted in the most common location (DP, after the firewall in the 2 o'clock position)
