At 7 psi, a stock KA at 7 psi will make around 230-250 hp with upgraded fuel pump, injectors, arp head studs, multi-layer head gasket, and a decent tune. If your aiming for 500 hp on a KA it will have to be very well prepared an you will be spending much more than it would cost than a SR swap, but it would be worth the extra money! we had a kid come in he had a turbo kit off ebay some injectors and a safc2 he made 230whp stock headbolts gasket bottom end everything with 100k on it and a volvo turbo off an old wagon lol it was a haggard mess but youcant deny power like that
