I have got a 1jz in my 89 they are the same mounts but chances are that they will be worn out. Buy a set from driftmotion for 130 bucks. Make aure your 89 has the round style mounts by getting underneath of it and looking... if u have any questions I have a lot of answers and photos of my swap... check out this link it should answer 95% of your questions http://www.supraforums.com/forum/sho...d.php?t=292754
