Considering the Mkiv TT was a $45K+ sportscar (in 1993 dollars), that $850 for an imported (made in Japan) exhaust really isn't that bad. Note that $45K in 1993 dollars, adjusted forward for inflation is about $75,000. Although the '93 Mkiv Supra TT outperformed '93 Porsches and '93 Ferraris when it came out...and even hung with the '93 (C4) ZR1 'Vette and '93 Viper...aftermarket parts for the Mkiv Supra TT compared to Porsches, Ferraris, 'Vettes, and Vipers could be considered quite decently affordable.

In other words, comparing Mkiv Supra Turbo parts to Mustang parts, to me, is kind of an apples-and-oranges comparison (just mho). A new '93 Mustang sold for at most $21K for a GT convertible...no?

For example, take a look at these 'domestic' exhausts:...maybe I should be glad I don't have a domestic, or my wallet would be REALLY hurting?

NB: Please consider posting any help requests in a new thread instead of asking me for help privately. About 99.9+% of the time, private help requests end up covering great information that could be very valuable to other forum members. If you have a good reason for needing the help request to be private, I'll consider it. If not, then why not give everyone else the opportunity to pitch in too, and/or learn from the information? Remember, there's no such thing as a dumb question. We're all here to help within this family of Supra owners.
