Default NATO papers?

I found a Toyota booklet with my owners manual that are NATO papers.
I knew the previous owner was an Air Force pilot but didn't know he had bought the car while stationed in Germany.
All of the major repairs he had done are noted in the maintenance section, like the engine rebuild @ 97k and the rack four years ago, nice to know...
Does anyone know if there are any significant differences between the US bound cars and the European versions?
