get a buddy and see if theres bubbles in the master when you hit the breaks. the rubbers that hold the plastic tank to the master went hard on mine, didnt seal properly, and was allowing air into the brake system. they would work for a while then get gradually softer, which sucks with an auto. if not id check to see if the master itself isnt shot, ie leaking fluid from the rear seal.
