maybe fuel pump or coils/igniter died on me? I'm not sure so I thought i'd get some opinions.
87. 7mgte,r154 5spd.
last week she started up and drove fine like usual. I parked it and hasnt been touched. today i decided to start her up, and it just wasnt happeneing. battery is good and the neg and pos cables,tight and clean.
everything seems normal no smells, starter sounds like its working fine, even though i've read that the small guage wire to starter is crap, yet hasnt given me problems yet.
when i put the key in and switch to acc,the boost gage rises to 0. i wait a few seconds, depress clutch and turn key. it tries to start but just doesnt turn over. it just goes cha cha cha cha cha cha cha. wait a few mins try again... cha cha cha cha stumble cha cha cha.... =/
ps. I can kinda hear the flywheel and starter whine down a bit after the cha cha's but i assume this is normal.
