I'm going off memory here, but I think the 57 trim puts you close to fuel cut but just under. The 57trim flows a higher volume and the charge is cooler. The amount of kinetic energy being fed to the engine at 7 psi is probably comparable to a stock CT-26 at 10 or 12 psi.
