The 1j needs firewall tapped in just a bit. the bolt for the intake pipe on the rear turbo hits it.
For the 2j your lookin atleast 3 inches in about a 6" diameter area.
The harness through the speedo hole is rumored. But It would be very difficult to route it into the correct location IMHO. But there is guys in cali running them that way!
