Agreed. Another item to consider - to push 800hp, you'll need to run a huge shot of meth/water injection, or race fuel. Ask him how much horsepower it'll put down (rwhp, not "hp") on 16psi (max safe boost pressure on pump gas and a near-oem timing curve).

Be sure to get a detailed list of modifications, maintenance records, carfax, and the exact per-cylinder compression numbers (preferrably tested in front of you and/or by an independent Mkiv Supra TT expert).

Do you need to daily-drive this vehicle?
