This thread's still nuts...

First off, 240HP, not stock.... :P

Second; How have you determined everything has moved? Have you actually inspected the motor mounts? The transmission support will also have to have ripped free or been SIGNIFICANTLY distorted... have you checked this?

Third; Has the shifter physically moved? Do the top and bottom shifter locations still line up?

Fourth; The motor physically shifting forward isn't going to cause smoke at the throttle body, so either you blew up the transmission in a AMAZING fashion or put a hole through the block somewhere. For it to move far enough to cause a serious short to ground in the wiring harness the engine would really have to move much further then there's room for.

Fifth; This didn't/couldn't happen from manually shifting an automatic transmission (not the kind of damage you're describing)... so how'd you wreck it and what REALLY happened?

Did you diagnose this any further and find more out or are you still assuming that the entire drive train has broken free?
