Yes, The Apex'i Power Intake for the TURBO MK2 MR2 (years '91 - '95 with the 3S-GTE specifically) will fit just fine. It includes two metal bars for rehanging the MR2's VAFM but you don't need them.

Personally, I'd recommend just buying a generic VAFM filter adapter off eBay for $5 and get an AEM DryFlow filter for half the price of the replacement Apex'i filter. I like the Apex'i but they're overpriced and the AEM's are just as good but a LOT more easy to replace and much less expensive.

And 907's right about not seeing any real gains from this.... more likely you'll lose some power unless you build a box around the filter to make sure it's not getting air from the engine bay.
