Why do you think the "head is blown"? The Mkiv never had the head gasket problems that the MKIII did, so I have to call into question your diagnosis of the issue, unless (for example) a large shot of nitrous was installed in this car?

Yes, the head gasket for the 2jz-gte will work on an n/a engine.

Get the TSRM for doing any work like this on an Mkiv engine...
