In order to do away with the kvafm you have one of 2 options..
install a 1jz or install a maftpro.
the only part your going to hardpipe is the accordion hose. which while looking cool offers no real benefits and possibly resulting in heat soak.

your talking about doing a upgrade using the kvafm honeycomb housing off of a v8 lexus. which allows 15% more air to enter the turbo.
were you will have to either 1-get a safc and tune it using a wideband (total about 4 hundred bucks) for whats called a piggyback or 2, acquire a set of 550cc low impedance injectors, going standalone. Again about 400 bucks (i think, been awhile since I priced them.)

either way the only feasible reason to hardpipe is going maftpro, were you no longer care to make use of the different hoses coming off of the accordion hose.

those pictures of the product you wish to purchase won't work in your 7mgte.

the housing your black box (kvafm) sits in, is specially designed to swirl the air while its being metered. hence the name karman vortex air flow meter. Doing away with the honeycomb housing will make your car run like crap, if run at all.. your only real option is going MAFT. you will alway need a way to meter your air coming into the vehicle. You do have options on how you choose to meter it.
