Agreed. Please do not be another kid who gets an mk3 to be a "tuner". Just keep it stock and it will help it keep its value. Also from what I have heard if you really start driving a car that is that old and with so few miles you can expect leaks from dried seals and hoses.
It is funny though that although it is a nice mk3 that you would probably find a dealer asking 8 to 9k for it would be more like 50k if it was only 3 or 4 years newer.
