info on 87turbo igintion control mod

1. Is turbo any different from non turbo? 2. Repair shop said only available from Toyota and costs $750, but parts shop says they can get for $400 and I have seen online prices for as little as $120. What is the true scoop? 3. Is it easy to replace? 4.Also read about cleaning coil contacts. Thanks to KIKWEAR002 because wouldn't start after rainy day and easily could be this.
