You can easily put regular struts on a Supra equipped with TEMS. You simply don't hook up the electrical components. Of course, you should probably take out all of the wiring for the TEMS system when you're done and get the piece for the center console that fits over the TEMS buttons.
I don't have experience with lowering a car with electronic suspension, but I don't foresee any unusual issues in doing so.
