Corytebeau, I don't know how much experience you have from working on cars... Your intro in this thread leaves me thinking you've maybe done breaks and other maintenance work but nothing significant beyond that. A 25 year old car is not a good car to start learning on. A 25 year old MKIII is even worse. I like all generations of Supras, but people tend to underestimate the car, overestimate their ability, underestimate the costs and difficulties that come with it.... And for some reason MKIII owners specifically try to cheap out on EVERYTHING. Buy a Honda, break it 15 times and you'll still have less invested than you will if you start with a MKIII. If you're dead set on a turbocharged MKIII then save and buy a factory turbo MKIII that's already in good shape.

With that said, information regarding swaps is covered in the MKIII FAQ section. I suggest you dig through there for a little while.
