daily

Well back driving my civic as my daily with all of the mechanical done there is no need to drive him every day. That and at 20 mpg and the fact he demands premium no ethanol gas it is too expensive.
Diving the civic is sort of like driving a super golf cart. No wonder I felt the speedometer was off on the Supra. When you are going 75 mph it feels like it unlike the Supra.

I got him back last night, runs like a real champ but now the a/c does not work
Runs very quiet with a soft roar, the police are still following. I have been running with the car top off not mine My guy hates to go slower than 70 in 5th gear, hmmm. This sure beats my civic!

still out

Posted 04-05-2011 at 09:57 PM by Ranma
Well I am still waiting for my guy. While I had the new exhaust installed had some work done on the headlight. The dealer actually managed to break the left headlight motor. The weather is great and here sits my Supra *pouts* Oh sure they will fix it for free but am missing great weather.
I managed to get a heat shield for my exhaust manifold, problem the exhaust manifold is still attached. Something else to put on ebay.
Looked over the drifting section and it seems like auto abuse....

I have gotten my Supra back finally from the dealer. The poor guy was in real bad shape. All of the seals have been replaced on the engine, transmission and rear end. A rebuilt head was put on. The one piece driveshaft was replace with a rebuilt 2 piece. One axles were replaced while the other was rebuilt. An EFI sensor was replaced as well as another for the radiator. All of the hoses were changed and he got new cap and wires. The power steering pump was replaced as well as the rack. Oh yes the...

When in doubt change it

Posted 10-29-2010 at 02:21 PM by Ranma
I am putting a new head on my car. The old one had a crack that leaked just enough oil to be annoying. Am changing out all of the hoses, rotor, cap, oil pressure sensor, etc.
I am pulling the Ford drive shaft and replacing it with a reconditioned proper 2 piece shaft. Am changing out the gasket on the oil pan.
Have decided to change out the rear axles.
She should be real nice when finished, that is when the parts arrive.
