ok i found a 89 supra in good shape for only 500 and its a nice car 5 speed but the engine started knocking in it last year when he redline it in the snow. so the question is should i buy it or should i just keep looking. and if i do buy it what all could be wrong with it and how much would it be to fix it

I have gotten my Supra back finally from the dealer. The poor guy was in real bad shape. All of the seals have been replaced on the engine, transmission and rear end. A rebuilt head was put on. The one piece driveshaft was replace with a rebuilt 2 piece. One axles were replaced while the other was rebuilt. An EFI sensor was replaced as well as another for the radiator.
