Question for Supra Owners

Posted 09-29-2009 at 01:40 PM by Denise Fuller
Greetings! I own a garage keps 1994 Toyota Supra, twin turbo, targa (no whale tail) and a fast and furious hood (I still have the original hood also). 46,000 original miles, no body damage and I've only driven it if there is no chance for rain. I don't recall ever driving it in the snow. I have a custom set of pajamas while it's in the garage but I also make sure to take it out every couple weeks to get everything moving.

I may be interested in selling LaToya (her nickname)....

1988 Supra electrical prolblems

Posted 09-20-2009 at 01:04 AM by 88-SupraTurbo
A few weeks ago i bought a 88 supra. it needed some work but not much, but all of the sudden it wont crank...and my relays (i think) are all fine. when you turn the key to the "ON" position, everything works. and so does my radio. but when you turn the key to start the car, it doesn't do anything. but the only that is wrong is that the clock dims when the key is turned to the start position....someone please help me ASAP!!

87 Supra blown head gasket or cracked block?

Posted 09-18-2009 at 04:17 PM by Bluemagic36
I have recently purchased a 87 supra and a local shop did a pressure test on it and said it has a blown head gasket. I know the symptoms and it hasnt shown enough of these. My coolant recently blew out and seems to be coming from the water pump. and it was burning coolant before. The car ran very rich. These were about the only symptoms. No smoke or over heating. I'm wondering if this could possibly be something els like a cracked block? I would like to know and have a better idea before i pull...
