I bought and 89 turbo supra auto, it drives a little sluggish. I changed the tranny, and it still drives the same. Can anyone help me out with troubleshooting this problem. What else can I do or look for?

im looking to swap the 7mge out of my car(87), now im just not sure on what engine to put in, 7mgte, 1jz, 2jz. Which one would be easiest to put in for the power urgrade? And does that mean that i would have to get the tranny from the car I swap with along with the exhaust? I couldn't just throw the 7mgte in an go, so I was just wondering what I'll need.
