89 supra for 500

ok i found a 89 supra in good shape for only 500 and its a nice car 5 speed but the engine started knocking in it last year when he redline it in the snow. so the question is should i buy it or should i just keep looking. and if i do buy it what all could be wrong with it and how much would it be to fix it

jump on itjump on it man if all it did was spun a rod bearing thats easy fix i replaced mine with motor in car and only took bout 4 hours love my supra good eye turner u dnt see these cars anymore.
