Connecting the back rear speaker
1 Attachment(s)
I had a new Kenwood Double din AM/FM stereo with Cassette, CD & MP3/Ipod options installed. We put Boston Accoustics speakers put in the front & rear. We cannot figure out how to connect the 5th speaker hiding behind the back seat. We have tried a couple of different wiring techniques, but can't seem to get it to work. PLEASE, all-knowing, all-seeing god of audio, what do we need to do? :crazy2:
BTW: There doesn't appear to be an additional set of wires on the radio to install the above forementioned 5th speaker. :dunno: Thanks in advance for your suggestions. JDBones & TweetyBird Copy of New Supra 018.jpg |
I found out that the amp under the passenger seat wasn't working and that's what was powering the 5th speaker. I have since hooked up an aftermarket amp and found the two speaker wires and tapped into them. There should already be wiring for the 5th speaker once you take off the quasi speaker grill. I'm not sure if this answers your question or not?
