Passenger Door Wont Properly Lock
well, as i found out, in order to truly make the doors on my 87 MKIII lock so that you CANT open them from the outside, you must hold the door handle out\open while you shut the door, then release it. unfortunately, when i hold the passenger door handle out\open and try to shut the door, it just bounces off and wont shut. therefore, my passenger door wont properly lock, and i cant have that =P i dont care if i have an alarm or not lol. any easy fix? or do i need a whole new locking mechanism?
the result of me trying to shut the door, is like having the belt buckle in the door jamb...it just bounces off the doorframe and clanks, not shutting at all. and no, the belt buckle is not actually in the door jamb. thanks!
