This is probably going to flag me as an old fart, but what do you mean by 'drift knob'? Are you referring to a 'drift-spin-turn' knob for the e-brake? I assume we're not talking about weighted shifters or e-brake covers...
If you're trying to defeat the e-brake I have no idea if a Nissan drift-spin would work... Why not just disable the retainer/latch in the ebrake and be done with it? Do you use the e-brake the rest of the time? I do actually use my e-brake so that wouldn't be an option for me. This is what I'm talking about: http://www.frsport.com/DiF-Drift-Spi...ob_p_1040.html If you wanted to get tricky you could figure out a location where when pressed a small rod slid in from the side of the ebrake handle would hold the button/linkage in a pressed state. Push in button, slide small rod into hole you drilled in handle, release button, button stays down.... end of event, push button, remove pin, e-brake back to normal. |
I just removed part of the mechanism that pushs the locking gears together so your ebrake stays on and it works great. Plus it was free and only took about an hour, Ive had yet for it to stick on when Ive ripped it so start a drift.
