Yeah seen it a while ago on a japanese DVD, there was also a supra pickup but i belive that its dead now

Heres a vid of it the only one i have ever seen and it was this that inspired me to do a pickup

http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?...=drift+extreme

However i wanted it to be unique, so decided to do it without the big bars hangin out the backend, the wide arches were a freinds idea and i must say finish the car, had to but some kinda box on the exhaust as is was to noisey for the track according to the officials

more work to come after Christmas

cheers for the comments

from you guys' experience with this car, what would you say was the most neccesary thing to drift the car properly? i'm looking into drifting my '89 N/A as well, but i'm kinda skeptical b/c it's my daily driver as well, and supras aren't cheap to fix :[

Most neccesary thing would have to be to stiffin the chassis and weld the diff, or you could shim the diff if you dont want it permenantly locked

Unfortunetly not been no work done since end of November due to a massive move of premisiss work to restart Saturday 20th January 2007 and we will be rocketing on hopefully

Heres a couple more pics to go on with

Its first outing took it to the club meet for the members of our club www.japnortheast.co.uk to get a feel of what we are doing and have a look round the car

(Even came second in our car of show contest lol wasnt even entered)

This won best car of show that day & rightfully so 600bhp 10 second car

Faye Gets real dirty lol

Still wish i could have kept the real side exit but after advice from track officials i had to go the other route

My Favourite Pic cant tell anything has been done

Shot from the inside rear to have camera fitted and 17" tft onto dash instead of a back window

Fuel cell & Fuel pump fitted (fuel pump fitted to strut)

The way it was originally - bit different now !

Anyway will update hopefully next week with the progress
