yea really driftin is about the driver. any rwd car can be drifted.when i first bought my supra. my friends said i couldnt drift it, i got it dropped, some suspension bars and now i drift like 240s. if you want to drift easily get a 240. but if you want some power , speed and be able to drift get a supra(turbo haha ). supras are definetly not easy to drift. it takes lots of practice.

hmmmm.... my old supra would drift without having to hit the handbrake. it was fun as hell (hence forth purchasing #3) but if i mistreated the throttle i'd spin out mighty fast. as for her being fat...well maybe she's just a lil' thick.... ;)

i'm only just starting to learn to drift my old mans one, all of it is power oversteer, and it's only sitting above 300bhp, will let you know for sure after saturday. it ain't that hard, getting it to balance is a bit harder, but ask most of my mates here in nz that have been for a ride, i ain't even that good, and they think it's great. like people say, want to cheat and do it easily, get a nissan, want to do it with style, get a supra.

See i am just getting good at drifting (a lot of dumb mistakes and close calls) and all of you who don't rip on the E-brake aren't having fun.....You can do it fairly easy with or without the E-brake, but practice makes perfect(i took out a road work sign one time....no dent thank god) Lower the thing a few inches and tear out dead weight and you will go sideways like nobodys business....I have drifted in two other cars an RX-7(best friend's car) and a 240sx(Girlfriend's car) and honestly after a little work the Supra will dominate the 240sx and hang with an RX-7(lots o practice and suspension and power mods)....As well she demolishes them straight away....

ok, to drift, you don't want body roll, as that will plant a tire and stop the drift. Also, I wouldn't recomend using the E-brake on a supra, unless you want to replace the shoes, and they aren't cheap. Also, drifting is done with power, so you can smoke em.

What you need, is a stiff suspension, LSD, lots of power, and lot of experience to do it. Drifting is cool, but tires aren't cheap :(

SuperSupra86 08-04-2005 07:01 PM

AMEN to that....i just enjoy the E-Brake because its more fun yeah....but lower her get some better stiff suspension...and yes he is right shoes aren't cheap...
