Default gauges!!! need some input

ok i have 1988 7mgte. im wanting to install an aftermarket boost gauge in a pillar pod. ok so doing that i would have a non working factory boost gauge that only reads up to 8 psi...what do do with that space...the 7mge's have a battery voltage gauge in place of the boost gauge i think? has any one switched the two? i hate to see a non working gauge it would bug me. and while we are on gauges does anyone know how to hook up the factory oil pressure gauge the aftermarket one was bolted into the dash by the previous owner and the oil line coming from that gauge goes down to the side of the engine. if anybody has any advice on any of my questions please help thanks in advance

Default

if you install an aftermarket gauge the stock one will still work. you will have to install the vacum/boost fitting to the intake that comes with the gauge, it wont work with the stock one
