I got a C's short shifter on eBay in 2005 for $250. Usually everything you do to these cars
is an incremental improvement. http://www.toyota-supra.info/forums/...picture583.jpg http://www.toyota-supra.info/forums/...picture582.jpg |

Making a cut-off stock shifter has its drawbacks. There is no rubber insulation, which increases the heat and vibration felt in the shift knob. It takes more effort to shift especially in a high mile transmission that’s notchy when cold. Then there is the time and effort to make one. I went with an after market tuner part designed to do the job in a predictable way. Although having $250 would buy 25 12 packs of Newcastle Brown Ale here.
