Do you have a second gen or a third gen supra? I have a mid year 86 supra that is an mk3 or third gen, If you get a 87-88 7mgte motor it will fit with no modifications to the engine bay, the trans will work but you will need a new clutch if you dont upgrade it when the engine is out, you'll also need a ecu from that year and a wiring harness uncut if you can find one.

If you get a 86.5-87 motor
Be sure to get the same year
Ecu and harness
88 has a bit diffrent color combinations since it was year they were making slight changes to the mk3
88-92 motors came with the similar mounts to the jz series motors
Also diffrent harness and ecu
Any turbo trans should bolt up to any year motor
But I suggest getting an 89 motor, and jus replace the mounts since they use the genuine 7m crank
Instead of the 6m that the pre88's use
U would also need coilpacks
And igniters
And the power steering reservior is diffrent in the turbo motrs

And u should post this on the mk3 section
And yes it would bolt right in with no fitment issues

89-92 is when they changed the engine mounts to acomidate for the 1jz engine, so an 87-88 is very similar the color combination is going to be the same.
