Mk2 Supra Diff required
Hi All,
Just picked up MK2 Supra today, but when I tried to drive it, there was lots of banging and nasty noises from the back, along with a big puddle of oil :-( Verdict:- Diff's had it!! Not knowing a great deal about these vehicles, just wondered where I might get one from (Are they the same as Mk3?? or fitted to different types of cars??) Have scanned UK Ebay, but nothing on there! Car itself is not to bad, bar some front bumper damage. |

You can pull one from an early-ish Cressida, but more than likely it will be an open diff and not LSD. Check the firewall code and if the diff code begins with "F" you can fit it in the Supra. Not sure about the UK, but the 1985 Celicas here also have F code diffs, w/ 3.90 gears, but again, are not LSD units.
