Newbie needs hatch!! hi everyone hows it goin?
Hello, i just got my first Supra, and am loving it. It sat for a while, but seems to run ok. It was running hot, so i checked the thermometer and there wasn't one!!
Hopefully replacing it with a new one will cool things down a bit. anyways, great to find a place i can ask questions and learn about my new ride. I do however need a back hatch as the one currently in place has rusted, and i have been told that this is a downer about the older Supra's. Ive also been told that they are interchangable with up to the 84 Celicas. Anyone from the Sunshine coast or Vancouver? Looking for a hatch for sale. Peace cosmos |

Rusted hatches are a common problem on the MKII's. You'll be very lucky indeed to find a good one up north. If you have the funds, your best bet is to get one from the southwest and have it shipped up... Is yours beyond repair?

hi!
yeah, its been in there since I left town in Feb. The Rubber seal on the Clutch went just as i was leaving town for Nelson to live. I just drove it back to Nelson. I found a Hatch in Vancouver for 200 bucks from a Supra enthusiast. So i am totally stoked. peace C. |
